Summer Scoop on the 2019 Apple's September Event

The Apple September event is always highly anticipated, and this year is no different. If you’re an iPhone user, you’ve probably already speculated about what features the new model will boast based off of the teasers they put out throughout the year. For those of you who just can’t wait until September, we’ve got the scoop on what’s to be unveiled at 2019’s Apple September event.

Anticipated iPhone features

Apple has made comments about the release of not just one, not just two, but three brand new iPhones at the Apple September event. We’ve already heard names drop, such as iPhone XI, iPhone 11, and iPhone XT. Rumor has it that there will be two OLED devices and one LED device.

One of the reasons people choose the iPhone model over other brands is its great camera features. With each new model, Apple will typically update the quality of the camera. This year’s Apple September event is expected to be no different. The latest add-on is the triple lens camera that will take ultra-wide-angle shots. This is great news for social media gurus and soccer moms alike, improving the photo quality of their pocket size camera.

As far as charging updates, Apple has seemingly been trying to keep up with Android ever since they released the wireless charger update. Now, rumors about the Apple September event are saying that that Apple will feature a USB-C to Lightning cable, which will drastically decrease the time it takes for your iPhone to charge. Not only that, the battery is also getting a huge upgrade and the successor of the iPhone XS will be up to 3,500 mAh. The XS Max will see the biggest difference by having around 3,650 mAh. This puts Apple not just in line with their competitors but surpassing them.

The Apple September event will also give us insight into more of the improvements Apple is making to its connection services. They will debut a new A13 chip, which means Wi-Fi and LTE connections are going to get much faster.

One iPhone rumor about the Apple September event remains a little controversial: will we see the return of Touch ID? Touch ID, which allows you to unlock your iPhone with your fingerprint, was swapped out for Face ID beginning with the iPhone X. According to some sources, the upcoming iPhone may be unlocked by placing your finger anywhere on the screen. We’ll just have to wait until the Apple September event to find out for sure.

What can we expect from the Apple Watch 5?

At Apple’s WWDC event in June, we were treated to a preview of watchOS 6, the newest operating system for the Apple Watch. You’ll be able to get this update if you already have an Apple Watch 1, 2, 3 or 4, but what about people who are ready for a hardware upgrade too? We’re expecting the Apple Watch 5 to be unveiled at the Apple September event.

2019’s Apple September event may unveil an Apple Watch with a built-in sleep tracker, instead of having to rely on third-party apps. We may also see the return of a luxury Apple Watch with a ceramic casing, which was phased out last year. There’s also been some buzz about Japan Display, Apple’s new supplier of OLED screens, although it’s unclear if there will be any real changes to the Apple Watch display.
