Only a day before Apple is rumored to unveil its next-generation flagship iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones. We’ve been following a plethora of leaks and rumors over the past year, which have given us a pretty good idea of what we can expect to see from Cupertino’s new iPhone revamp.
Looks like the iPhone 7 will still feature more.
If you are impressed by the recent rumors and latest leaks about the iPhone 7, prepare to be dazzled. Apple rumors have continued to circulate, now claiming the iPhone 7 models will sport a waterproof exterior. There were early reports that we would have to wait for the iPhone 8 model before we could enjoy this waterproof feature, but new leaks report Apple might have pushed up this feature for the launch in September.
Let’s take a closer look at the rumors and expectations.
The new iPhone models might resemble last year’s 6 and 6s versions, but anyone who has really been paying attention knows that Apple usually keeps a card up its sleeve until the last minute. Speculation suggests that Apple might be worried the iPhone 7 wouldn’t make as big of a splash unless it offered some big differences from its previous versions.
New rumors about the iPhone 7 include major improvements on the battery life, more storage, and the latest leak includes, Apple’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will ship out with two times as much storage as the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The new models will come with 32GB instead of 16GB, and Apple may possibly offer the next two tiers of storage with 128GB and 256GB.
Blue is the new rose gold.
When some Apple fans realized rose gold was an option for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus launch, they were over the moon. Now, we just may be over a blue moon, with recent image leaks from overseas presenting the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus donning a blue hue. Is this enough of a reason enough to trade up? More storage is one thing, but blue? Yeah, probably. Heck Apple owners traded up when Apple released the white version – we have no doubt blue will lure a few iPhone fanatics to pre-order the new model.
Leaks and released photos have revealed Apple’s new iPhone 7 lineup sporting a new color and better camera. Sure, there have been a few discrepancies here and there, but reports seem to be consistent with what we should expect from the new release.
But this is what we’ve been waiting for.
And last, but not least, the latest leak informs us about the wanted waterproof offerings. Of course, people want waterproof iPhones. We’ve wanted them since the very beginning. Android versions have released smartphones with impressive water-resistance for its customers. Notably, the Galaxy Note 7 can be fully submerged underwater for 30 minutes at a time and still keeps on ticking. But unfortunately, Apple hasn’t advertised a waterproof or water-resistant version of the iPhone.
Most of us have tested our iPhones with varied degrees of water splashes, but we would never consider a dunk test. Apple owners have come to realize that one slip near a pool, a sink or a toilet will probably have us drowning in our sorrows. This can be catastrophic for iPhone owners and #appleaddicts. But, now – it seems Cupertino has heard our cries. We’ll know for sure if Apple makes the official announcement on September 7th.
